To speed up development & time-to-delivery and reduce operational & support costs, they evaluated predictive analytics vendors RapidMiner, SAS and SPSS. RapidMiner was chosen because of its speed to access & prepare data, no-code approach to building predictive models, ability to incorporate existing R scripts into predictive models, & attractive value pricing.
